Life Skills Instructor
Neighbors are offered Life Skills classes taught by community leaders.
Life Skills are grouped into ten areas: family life, employment, health/nutrition, substance use/abuse, education, interpersonal issues, finances, housing, safety, and local resources. Some Life Skills classes are set up as a recurring series while others are one-time topics; either format is incredibly beneficial for our neighbors.
If you are a professional in one of these areas and would like to teach a life skills class or mentor one of our neighbors, your expertise and instruction are welcome.
Send us an Email to let us know what you would like to teach.
If you’re looking for a way to help out with Hope Haven, there are always community service tasks that need to be completed. Possibilities may include sorting donations, organizing the pantry or multiple storerooms, or providing planned activities for our neighbors in the afternoons or evenings.
